Palazzo Versace, Gold Coast, Queensland Australia
27-30 October 2009
Welcome
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a great pleasure to invite you to the 2009 ANZAOMS Conference to be held at the Palazzo Versace Hotel on Queensland’s Gold Coast, October 27-30th 2009.
The conference promises to be both stimulating and informative with a wonderful array of keynote and guest speakers from interstate and overseas. Many of the sessions will cover new and emerging technologies, providing delegates with a rare opportunity to see how they can be used and how they will become an integral part of our surgical management of patients.
The conference will focus on technology and its practical implementation to clinical practice both in the consultation room and operating theatre. The conference will focus on:
TMJ and its surgical management
Trauma
Navigational surgery
Oncology
We hope to engage, inspire, challenge and entertain all of our delegates by providing them a panel of world class international speakers.
The extensive trade exhibition will provide delegates with a wide range of products from leading companies in the industry.
The setting for the 2009 ANZOAMS conference is the world’s first Versace Hotel which combines classical elegance with a stunning outlook to the magnificent Gold Coast Broadwater. The Gold Coast is an iconic Australian holiday destination. With a location that affords the city warm weather and boundless natural beauty, the Gold Coast delivers an unrivalled variety of activities and experiences.
You can enjoy a relaxing swim or walk on the glorious beaches; a visit to Sea World or one of the many theme parks all within a short journey from Palazzo Versace. If golf is more to your liking, Sanctuary Cove and The Pines are also easily accessible. The Gold Coast hinterland offers a complete contrast to the sand and beach with subtropical rainforests and sheltered walking tracks. Then of course, the unrivalled and eclectic choice of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and music venues need little introduction.
I look forward to meeting as many delegates as possible and welcoming you all to ANZAOMS 2009.
